He has a foundations class that teaches need to know skills in a way that builds confidence and really helps.you practice technique over intensity. Whether you need practice to improve your game or starting out, it's perfect for a beginner like me or even more advanced athletes. The community is very welcoming and helpful. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great kids program and very military friendly. In just a mere six months, I noticed a huge difference in my daughters’ behavior and they would even look forward to attending class. Additionally, Coach Mike is very knowledgeable and demonstrates the perfect amount of patience when dealing with kids. His highest priority was always predicated on safety, definitely putting my wife and I at ease when we first enrolled my daughters. I had previously enrolled my daughters in tae kwon do, and no knock on them at all, but the level of growth my daughters experienced under Coach Mike, was leaps and bounds higher than the full year in half they did in Tae Kwon Do. If I ever get stationed here in Oak Harbor again, I will undoubtedly be enrolling my kids again with Coach Mike. BEST BJJ GYM IN OAK HARBOR HANDS DOWN!
